Best viewed in big, widescreen 1080 x 1920..."it's the future"
BlueRay3D.net will
be
devoted
to home 3D entertainment content, 3D video games, & production
issues,
where the final
display uses HD blue laser technology, if
possible.
We are also concerned with the continuation of RED LASER disks in progressive
scan widescreen, as a cheaper alternative format!
We know Sony's trademark
is BLU-RAY®.
Our
s
name refers the the whole field of blue laser
technology...hence the generic spelling. It should be noted that BLU-RAY® players also can
play standard DVDs with a built-in RED
laser. We will also discuss ALTERNATIVE ways
of
maximizing the output of standard DVD disks
&
players, squeeze the best 3D
performance out of the older format. Using a progressive scan disk ,
with a RED DVD
player, set in "widescreen", with a HDMI output
cable. By limiting
compression,
by shortening the run time, it can
improve RED laser
DVD quality with 3D & allow a
better
result on such a "960p" doubling machine. If actually played
on a
BLU-RAY®
player, by its RED laser
it can look great player, if connected to a
1080P modern LCD "widescreen" monitor.
Why is this so important? Because Sony
& the Blu-ray Consortium wield huge power, over who can use the new
Blu-ray technology. There are only 8 labs in the world who can do the
job!
By certifying
certain disks were shot in HD, and processed for the
best possible result when played in a Blu-ray player, with the red
laser. the hold that Sony & friends seek is broken !
THIS
ALTERNATIVE RED LASER DVD
APPROACH LOOKS DAMN GOOD, AND IS CHEAPER TO PROCESS, FOR THE
SMALLER CONTENT PRODUCER, or the less affluent video consumer to
buy
!
HENCE
our proposed trade rating "ULTRA-DEF-PRO©"
This will appear along with any licence
notice for DVD©
technology !
For, now it will
only cost a
nickle
to
use that name on your packaging! Actually a $200 flat fee ,
per title. What fun! Not really a joke , if
it actually takes hold. We intend to be the entity to offer the "logo"
certification.

If Anachrome Group
were to promote the idea, we'll try to open the
public
conscienceness to the fact that a semi-HD effect is easily
prooduced from a dvd disk that has been set up for best results when
played on a blu-ray machine,
or top quality DVD machine with "line doubling" and HDMI cabling.
This " lesser" RED format squeezes the
final potential out of the DVD format .
PROGRESSIVE SCAN "wide image only disks", shot with HD cameras,
but
burned to DVD disks and displayed on 1080p
HD screens which"upconvert"
the image by "line
doubling". HDMI cables
and the
highest quality DVD
compression option, HD original processing, will all help. We are
addressing these ALTERNATIVE issues,
working to develop good technique for BLU-RAY®
3D release.
At
this point,
Sony's Blu-Ray®
format has become the
only game in town, as Toshiba recently dropped out of the
field, in February 2008. This leaves the "little guys"...
counting on the tender mercies of Sony and the
Blu-Ray © consortium! Toshiba
might be back with a superior "line doubling", 960p, RED machine spec, to stick it
to
Sony! The high Blu-Ray©
fees and restrictions are right out of the "new world order"
industrial age
playbook!
In short...the BIG format war is
over! Now, a much smaller war may be needed to assure
that HD
and HD3D remain options for the little disk producer!...and the freedom
loving global public!
This site will
also deal with 3D HD cameras and dual HD camera rigs, the needed
computer, disk authoring software &
hardware, processing technique, home display monitors
,
projection for
various forms of
3D,
in both BLU-RAY®
&
the RED LASER
alternative.

The editor of
the site is Allan Silliphant,
well known 3D media innovator & the webmaster of www.ANACHROME.com.
The editor, Allan Silliphant offers a few comments related to
blue ray technology being a "good fit" with 3D stereo imaging:
A: First and
foremost...3D is about image clarity! A soft 3D image is
simply a waste of time and energy. Something in the image needs to be
sharp. The sharpness
combines with the stereo depth effect to give the viewer a heightened
sense of reality. Blue ray disk technology offers the needed clarity to
make 3D shine.
The high standard of 1080 progressive scan delivers the needed clarity.
Up to this point, home 3D tv and recordings have been less than
great...but now things
have been changed for good with the advent of blue light laser
playback. Even the wide 16 x 9 aspect ratio greatly improves the 3D
experience.
B: Blu-ray gives an added boost to the
quality of 3D DVD playback from disks that will play on standard DVD
machines, especially those having progressive scan, and are especially
equalized to improve the anaglyph or 120 hertz refresh with
shutterglasses. We hope to see both advanced Anachrome color coded 3D
and 120 hertz refresh LCDs both carried on both BLU-RAY disks as well
as slightly enhanced standard DVDs. 3D is coming on like a
Tsunami, and
should be big in a couple of years, in home HD widescreen.
A good tip!
Look into the many advantages of the new HDMI cables to plug your HD
video camera, DVD or computer into your large living room HD display
monitor. Don't buy
an HD monitor that doesn't support 1080p, and the HDMI connection! Of
course, eventually buy, a BLU-RAY player when finances permit!
Meantime, get an HDMI equipped Progressive DVD machine for peanuts!
Some even do the line doubling trick!
Our acrylic diopter focus corrected Anachrome glasses. Widely

THE CERTIFICATION FOR OUR ULTRA-DEF-PRO RED LASER FORMAT COMPLIANCE
WILL CONFIRM THAT A PRODUCER HAS:
Shot his project on HD video or 35mm+ film.
Processed it in HD.
Has formatted the final cut to 16x9 widescreen.
Has caused the DVD to be authored in 480P format.
Has complied with all DVD standards.
Has reviewed their project on a RED LASER upconverting player, not
containing Blu-ray , and a Blu-Ray player's RED LASER upconverter.
Has executed a notarized oath to the facts.
Has paid the $200 flat, per title, certification fee.
